After opening weekend of filming, Greyscale was beginning to feel a touch like a romantic comedy. We went out to Longshot Ranch in Skiatook, Oklahoma for the backdrop of Oliver and Julia’s first date.
It was a beautiful day for filming. Sun was out, wasn’t too hot (well, warm enough for makeup to need to blot away sweat from time to time), and we learned a valuable lesson about trying to set up dolly track on grass, as well as the well known fact that the world actually spins faster when you get to golden hour.
6’ x 6’ silk screen are a lifesaver unless nobody is minding them on a windy day and they almost take out one of your lead actresses (check out this moment in the Behind the Scenes video to see this actual event… 1:25 in)

It wasn’t too strenuous of a day, and we got to do a fun clay disc shooting montage, which was very enjoyable to shoot as well (pun intended).
Scenes filmed: 59, 60, 61, 62 (2.5 pages)
